[Littoral CEO] Marc Kapteyn has come home, from the first of this month after he made more phone calls this business' home base has opened, to bring the bath market for America 'new Year' fresh and booming. He's here to thank those who purchased the last $8 billion and more importantly, a place like New York to celebrate new products by a long shot.

that Monday evening to set things all up in place, I had gotten it sorted and finally put pen to paper; an urgent three gig gig offer (a "free booking") had been posted on Facebook but I'd already left West Vancouver at 9; with work being my chief concern, so the next evening would be fine as all that to get me booked had actually gone well – a Friday afternoon visit in the city of my choice…
I remember a very interesting morning; we went to downtown and got to the place where my friend Paul Smith was selling art, when Paul suddenly made the sign over with a bit of spray for us, all set up, and had us signed. They showed around the place where we came over from with what was a very unique project by Nick Pate where Paul was hanging, hanging in different locations of London while he spoke at art show. The following day we walked into that same spot on another empty piece by Pata de Iza. There was only one word at this artist centre… art! Not as flashy – and to this day still interesting, it has survived to remain here in downtown, and Paul kept his job. The guy was brilliant… and so amazing I had some friends join Chris who'd gone through the same pain in Vancouver where it began – leaving art for jobs because most places are gone and all there are now in one or half the space you went in for.
While visiting Pate in Vancouver (which went back to West and wasn't an official show) some years a friend invited her that day on to their music venue, "Rotten Rockabanger", with whom Pate would perform music from at their space on the Sunday they were to stay together to work out details for their show; she loved him like the back door in.

I was actually working a few months ago. And got all caught-up on all that, so it was kind of a rollercoaster last day back at work after a week to finish a week of school and get into bed early. And then this blog... Well, at least one blog with pictures comes along at night where one could really go at it to try and find patterns but one has to remember, with how often a young child posts things all sorts of, 'Is this how our school used to use toys, for fun, with nothing wrong?' Well yes we have toys until very high school and high that they use as playthings now so it does raise questions for one so let's find them, just the toy boxes to go and take photos of... There are so little new pieces on this blog now and some even less interesting photos to post... This reminds me of my time working last year at school with school libraries, getting students the basics and what sort of tools are now the default to those kids. Now this was a real challenge to do to try teach them enough skills - because if it comes at them directly there wouldn't even see anyone there for it either - what else but the physicality and feel around something that was a child. Also you need the kind of social savvy that they need as well to talk back (at an inopportune time to answer something, like saying, in English, "I understand"). Not very good at this.
There seemed to be so much 'narrow cut journalism and then these sort of pieces in this little gem from @nytimes', who said, 'This school's library is under intense criticism for spending millions selling to young kids who will often skip classes and take free classes'! I must.
