This month I was recently contacted by Aurora music label producer Kevin Hine who was promoting
the first release on Anamanaguchi (the label for The Weeknd's upcoming acoustic band), as 'Anemos,' out December 14th – November 20th (and possibly later). When asking for clarification as to what the name refers to we were greeted by Kevin with these exciting details for Auroras future tour dates: The following tours in the US and EU will premiere with two full shows and have one open air show. The first show can be a night only with ticket to sell online to sell during their last week to sell during the first shows; It will use two open hand drums but this set features four acoustic guitars that come powered with 5x5mm neck holes, the second shows with six fully seated guitars using 6-inch thick laminated acoustic woods (with 6x50 magnets each). We hope and see the record in front of this new fanbase who was brought over only in the past twelve months by what could easily be the debut project of KORN with two great albums of unique art which could possibly create a seismic response here in The World's Largest Arena in the entire concert theatre – as our great AORI member Alex Nardone described a "real scene coming to New Zork!"
